The Basilisk is a serial killer from Amalek, formerly thought to be dead due to inactivity. Their signature is to leave victims with a surprised or shocked look on their face as if they were killed very suddenly, but they have no marks on their body. Their killing spree stopped roughly a year ago, but they may have resurfaced during the hunt for Sea Elf royalty.

It is rumored that The Basilisk has been Chosen by one of the gods, most likely Shar.
