The Sea Elves live among a set of islands in the middle of the sea. Most of their cities are underwater, but some islands have settlements so that they can interact with land-based species.

In order to protect their royal line, royal children are placed with adoptive parents throughout the kingdom. These foster families range from nobility to simple peasants, and none of the children truly knnow of their origins. A careful record is kept by the royal family, but the bloodline is also able to be recognized via a magic ritual.
