Rydel was kidnapped from one of the Sea Elves’ island cities and was press-ganged into the service of pirates. His days of piracy ended when the ship attacked the crew carrying Berelth, Joanna, and Thelmivor and the pirates were defeated in battle, at which point Rydel and Warford joined the party.
