Backstory #

Berelth is an expatriate of Amalek, a powerful Empire known for their aggressive colonialism. He’s a merchant from a branch family of a wealthy and powerful noble house (House Tesso, known for their economic power), although he was born into House Uriah. He was one of House Tesso’s most proficient assassins, gaining the name “The Basilisk” for himself due to the surprised looks on his victim’s faces. However, he was manipulated into killing targets that would actually harm his faction’s side of the schism and was exiled by way of an attempted assassination. He woke up in the body of a Warforged, coughing up the blood of his former body and unaware of how he came to be there. Now he has been summoned to trial, and is heading back to Amalek to set things right.

Berelth has been attempting to support the Knights of Mist in Amalek’s civil war.

Appearance #

Berelth is a tall Warforged formed of ebony wood, with a heartwood pearl at his core. His ghulra resembles a lightning bolt with a slash across both vertical portions. Previously he took the disguise of, withered man in his mid-sixties with a cultured accent and imppeccable posture. His disguise had sunworn dusky skin, close-cropped iron grey hair, a neatly trimmed beard, and dark green eyes. He wears finely made and fitted clothing. Customarily, he wears patterned silk robes, a turban, and pointed slippers with tasteful silver decoration adorning his hands and neck. At his side, he carries a hydra tooth katar inlaid with golden sigils on its ivory blade.

His fighting style is at odds with his polished appearance and mannerisms: nothing less than the lethally fast and vicious strikes of a back-alley knife fighter.
